Vile Parle - Shiv Sena leader and Former Mayor Ramesh Prabhu breathed his last on 11 December at 6.30 am. Prabhu had been ailing for the past five months, he became city's Mayor in 1978.
He was discharged from the hospital a few days back, but on Friday his condition became worse and was readmitted to the hospital.
MP Priya Dutt and State Education Minister Vinod Tawde came in to pay tribute to the leader along with many other dignitaries. Final rites were commemorated on Sunday in Parsiwada, Andheri.
