Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar is expected to travel to Mumbai on Monday for a health check-up and if advised by the doctors, he may go abroad for further treatment, according to this office.

He reportedly called for a meeting with government's senior ministers at his residence in Dona Paula, Goa and formed a cabinet advisory committee to take administrative decisions in his absence.

Manohar Parrikar was undergoing treatment at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital in February after which he headed back to Goa and resumed his duties.

After going back to Goa, on February 25, the Chief Minister was admitted to Goa Medical College and Hospital after he suffered mild dehydration. He was discharged from the hospital on March 1.
