Mumbai- This is a red letter day in the history of Maharashtra. PM Narendra Modi laid the foundation for the grand memorial of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj off the Mumbai coast in the Arabian Sea on Saturday, 24 December. The state government brought water from all major rivers of Maharashtra for the ceremony. CM Devendra Fadnavis gave the urn in the hands of Prime Minister. Present in the bhoomipujan ceremony were Governor C.Vidyasagar Rao, MP Udayanraje Bhosale, MP Sambhajiraje and Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray.
