Mumbai -It seems MLA Sanjay Nirupam's surgical strike statement has backfired on his own family. His wife Geeta Nirupam has written an open letter to prime minister Narendra Modi about the threats she is receiving. She has mentioned that the Nirupam family has started getting threats after Nirupam's statements about the surgical strike. She has also added that her mother in law is being targeted as well. She has compared all this to the saga of Amir Khan's wife Kiran Rao. She concluded by saying that she feels unsafe in her own country.
