Despite the good work, we did not get a place in the cabinet. That's when we swore that we would never climb Matoshree's steps again. We were the first one who publicly revolted against Uddhav Thackeray. With the help of Fadnavis, we formed power in Dharashiv with the BJP in Zilla Parishad and started to convert MLAs in Shiv Sena. As many as 150 meetings were held across the state. Devendra Fadnavis and Eknath Shinde gave great support for it. Health Minister Tanaji Sawant revealed that it was because of this that he succeeded in overthrowing the Thackeray government.
Bhairavanath Kesari wrestling competition was organised at Paranda in the district. During this contest, Sawant revealed that he had planned a scheme to topple the Thackeray government. Uddhav Thackeray rejected the vote given by the people in the 2019 elections. When the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance was approved, Sharad Pawar threw a grain of salt into it. And party leader Thackeray formed the government with Mahavikas Aghadi after the referendum. We were not given a place in that government either. So I went to Matoshree and told him that I will not climb the steps of this Matoshree again. The cabinet was expanded on December 30. Uddhav Thackeray kept us away from that too. Enraged by that, we started the first rebellion in the state on January 3 on the orders of Devendra Fadnavis. Along with the BJP, the official power of Shiv Sena-BJP alliance took place in Dharashiv Zilla Parishad. After that, for two consecutive years, I was working to topple this government. Around 100 to 150 meetings were held with Devendra Fadnavis and Eknath Shinde.
During this period, MLAs from Vidarbha, Marathwada and West Maharashtra met. We explained everything to them and changed their minds. Public Health Minister Tanaji Sawant has revealed for the first time that the conspiracy to topple the Thackeray government has been brewing for two years. Devendra Fadnavis's claim that he had no involvement in bringing down the Maha Vikas Aghadi government has also been thrown into doubt by Sawant's exposé. Minister Sawant has created a sensation by saying that this was happening on the orders of Fadnavis.
