Mumbai – The political atmosphere has heated up after it came to fore that prime minister Narendra Modi’s photo appeared on the Khadi Gramodyog Commission’s calendar instead of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. This has been criticised in the political circle and even ruling ally Shiv Sena has also opened a front against this act. Sena MP Arvind Sawant said that this is an excellent example when one loves self as an individual. How can Narendra Modi take the place of Mahatma Gandhi, he asked. Sawant also expressed his displeasure over nominations to Pakistani actors in the Film Fare awards categories. “The people in the film industry are so dumb that they do not know what is going on in the country. What the country would get by honouring the Pakistani actors,” he asked.
