Find out Mumbai voter's turnout in 2019 Maharashtra Assembly Elections

On October 21, Monday, the voting process for the Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019 was concluded. Now the counting process for the votes will be held on October 24 and on basis of which, the representatives for the respective constituencies will be announced. Meanwhile, the fate of the candidates from the 36 constituencies in Mumbai hangs on the results.

This year, the Election Commission had made special arrangements to appease more voters to come and cast their votes at the respective polling booths. However, despite the efforts by the EC, there was a visible decline in the number of voters casting their votes.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra witnessed a tentative voter turnout of 59.60 per cent. Alongside, Mumbai Suburb witnessed a tentative voter turnout of 49.77 per cent along whereas Mumbai City saw a voter turnout of 46.42 per cent.

Most number of votes in Mumbai were recorded in Bhandup West with a voter turnout of 56.93 per cent whereas the lowest voter turnout was witnessed in Mumbai's Colaba with 40.20 per cent.
