Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has fielded Sandeep Deshpande from Mahim constituency for the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra which are scheduled on October 21.

Deshpande, who is close to MNS chief Raj Thackeray and serves as the party's spokesperson, started his campaign for the assembly polls. On this occasion, Deshpande was accompanied by hundreds of MNS workers.

After initiating his election campaign, Sandeep Deshpande lashed out at the sitting Shiv Sena MLA Sada Sarvankar saying that MNS will contest the assembly elections highlighting people issues.

We will contest on issues. No development work has been done in this assembly constituency. There is no proper parking facility, schools are also not good along with the roads. Moreover, parking zones have also not been constructed. We are for fighting to develop this area and we are confident that people will vote for us,” said MNS candidate Sandeep Deshpande.
