Maharashtra: CM Eknath Shinde started 'public relations campaign'

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde launched the 'public relations campaign' on Thursday. It will be a Maharashtra state tour starting from Thane city on July 13. The CM's visit comes just days after some NCP leaders led by Ajit Pawar joined the Shiv Sena-BJP government, following the split in the NCP on July 2.



Possibility of meeting Shiv Sena leaders, office bearers and workers of all 36 districts
Apart from addressing public meetings, CM Shinde is likely to meet Shiv Sena leaders, office bearers and workers from all the 36 districts of Maharashtra. CM will address Shiv Sena leaders from Thane at 6:00 pm on Thursday. He will then visit Pune, Kolhapur and Navi Mumbai during the first leg of the visit. According to the Shiv Sena spokesperson, the aim of this ambitious tour is to reach out to the people in view of the upcoming elections in 2024.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's public relations campaign comes after Shiv Sena-Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray chief, Uddhav Thackeray began a 2-day tour of Maharashtra's Vidarbha region on Sunday. The purpose of this tour was also to boost the morale of this party before the 2024 elections.
