Want to see the skyline of City of dreams from a vantage point? Soon, Mumbai might may have structure that will enable tourists to enjoy this view. The Maharashtra State government is pondering over a proposal to set up 'Mumbai Eye', which will be Mumbai's own version of the iconic 'London Eye'.

The state government has received a proposal to set the observational wheel close to the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, just ahead of the toll plaza. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader, Ajit Pawar said that the proposal had come up during a discussion in the weekly Cabinet meeting on January 15.

He further added that the government will take the project in consideration that the environment is not harmed in any manner. Therefore, the government will find out if there are any Coastal Regulatory Zone (CRZ) issues before going ahead with the project.
