Mumbai- NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik has alleged that chief minister Devendra Fadnavis deliberately gave a clean chit to State Women and Welfare minister Pankaja Munde and its department’s secretary Vinita Ved Singhali in the chikki scam.
Malik said during a press conference that the Anti- Corruption Bureau (ACB) did not call ministers, secretaries, or contractors for the investigation. “Vinita was found guilty in the ‘Take Home’ ration scam, yet, she was given a post in this department,” Malik alleged. He added that another sincere officer, Manisha Verma, was not inducted into the department which accommodated Vinita Ved Singhal.
