Mumbai- NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik has sought strict action against state BJP president Raosaheb Danve from the state election commissioner.
Malik met State Election commissioner J S Saharia and gave him the letter regarding the same. Danve who is been conducting rallies for the forthcoming BMC elections made a controversial statement during one of his rallies in Paithan recently, saying that voters should seek the blessings of Laxmi prior to the elections. Malik alleged that Danve was suggesting that voters accept money and vote accordingly. Malik added that BJP MLA Pascal Dhanora had requisitioned liquor bottles from the excise department to distribute them amongst the voters.
