Mumbai- Radip urbanization, election fever, demonitazation has not just affected the common man, but also political parties. As Mumbai Metro-3 is in the process, offices of a few political parties were asked to move to a new place a few days back.
The political parties which have their offices in the Nariman Point are as follows - Shivsena, National Congress, Congress, Bharip Bahujan Mahasangh, Bhartiya Shetkari Kamgar Party, People's Republican Party of India, Republican Party of India and Samajwadi Party.
The offices shall be transferred to the prominent locations such as Surji Vallabhdas Marg, Ballard Estate Thakarsi House, Port House, etc. However, not a single party moved their office to new location.
Finally, on Monday, Shetkari Kamgaar Paksh office was demolished. Meanwhile, Congress has demanded to give them office near HR College. They also said that they are ready to pay extra rent for the same.
