Ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha and Maharashtra elections, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) have started to make their mark among the public. Recently, a poster was put up by MNS workers which read: ‘Raj’kiye Surgical Strike.

On March 9, MNS celebrates its 13th anniversary and the party’s supremo Raj Thackeray will address the public at Rangsharda Hall in Bandra launching his political campaign ahead of 2019 general polls. The dates for the LS elections are likely to be declared in the first two weeks of this month. All the major and small political parties in the state are running towards an alliance.

Earlier, there were strong speculations of MNS joining hands with the Congress-Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) alliance. However, there was no development on the same. Maharashtra Congress President Ashok Chavan had earlier said that MNS cannot be a part of the “mega-alliance” because of ideological differences.
