Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Nitin Nandgaonkar was served a show cause notice on February 16, 2019. In the notice issued against Nandgaonkar, the police have stated that they have received several complaints and therefore, they have registered various cases against him.
The complaints majorly said that he was spreading fear and viloence and so, the police sent him the notice asking him why he shouldn't be externed from Mumbai City, the suburbs and Thane district.
The notice was served to the MNS leader after a video surfaced, in which Nandgaonkar was seen slapping an auto driver who allegedly beat up a passenger.
In response, Nandgaonkar shared a video on Facebook on Wednesday, stated that the police have sent him a notice and this is all a conspiracy against him. He also said that he serves the people and the public have no complaints against him and they do not fear him.
Nandgaonkar has been seen solving people's issues in the past and has beaten various autorickshaw drivers along with scamsters.
