Modi cheated people: Prakash Ambedkar

Nariman Point - Prime minister Narendra Modi announced the decision of demonetization to end the black money menace and to keep a check on terrorist activities in the country. Those who were having the black money had deposited it in the banks before this announcement. There is a contrast about the amount of deposited black money given by the Central government and the RBI. This is a cheating of people and the prime minister is misleading countrymen on this issue, said Adv Prakash Ambedkar, president of Bharip-Bahujan Mahasangh. He also demanded that prime minister should clarify which of the two reports is true in this regard. The RBI should declare the amount deposited in the banks. Though the government is saying that the decision was a good one but the real condition is different. People have inclined to keep money with them. The demand of the Congress party for cancellation of demonetization is wrong. Prime minister Narendra Modi took this decision only to improve his image, he added. CPI leader B K Kango and Lal Nishan’s Milind Ranade were also present on this occasion.
