On Friday 20, 2018, Congress president Rahul Gandhi hugging Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Lok Sabha during the 'No Confidence Motion', created a stir across the nation. The historic hug was tagged as ‘Jadu ki jhappi’ inspired by Rajkumar Hirani’s movie ‘Munnabhai MBBS’.

While the nation was crooning over the hug, Mumbaikars witnessed posters saying "Nafrat se nahi, pyaar se jeetenge" in Andheri and nearby areas. The posters were put up under the guidance of Mumbai Congress President Sanjay Nirupam. The posters were put up in Andheri, Jogeshwari, Dadar, Vikhroli, and CSTM.

The poster had Rahul Gandhi hugging PM Modi along with a line "Nafrat se nahi, pyaar se jeetenge" along with pictures of Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and Nirupam himself. These posters are doing the social media rounds, just like Gandhi did over the weekend with his surprising gesture.

It is believed that the posters were put up deliberately on Sunday as BJP president Amit Shah was present in Mumbai to celebrate Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis' birthday.
