The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has recently registered a case against former state minister and Thackeray group MLA Ravindra Vaikar. The Economic Offenses Branch had registered a case against Vaikar in the month of September on the charge of misusing the premises of Supremo Club in Jogeshwari and concealing the facts while building a hotel there. 


The ED is investigating the case on the basis of the same crime. Meanwhile, sources said that no one has been summoned in this matter yet.

The ED is probing the financial transactions in the Jogeshwari plot and five-star hotel case. A case was registered against Ravindra Vaikar along with his wife Manisha Vaikar, his business partners Asu Nehalnai, Raj Lalchandani, Prithvipal Bindra and architect Arun Dubey at Azad Maidan Police Station on the complaint of Deputy Municipal Engineer Santosh Mandwakar in September.
