In a recent development in Maharashtra Politics, ahead of the upcoming elections in the state, the Maharashtra Swabhimaan Paksha (MSP) chief Narayan Rane on Friday announced that the party is going to contest in all the future elections and workers should prepare for the same. Rane was speaking at a Mumbai Regional Meet in Rangsharda Hall, Bandra.

We won’t only fight the election but will agitate for the people’s issue, Rane said. While speaking, Rane appointed Rajesh Hawley as the MSP’s Mumbai President. He also appealed the party workers to support its candidate Raju Bandgar, who is contesting the election from Mumbai Graduate Constituency.

After the formation of MPS, there has been no rally in Mumbai due to some political reasons. Rane said that Mumbai has political and financial importance in the country and the party needs to strengthen its hold. Targeting Shiv Sena, Rane said that Shiv Sena has done nothing for the Marathi people. The question of housing and employment still remains, he further said.
