Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader, Nawab Malik, in a recent interview with ANI, stated that NCP President Sharad Pawar is working towards bringing the opposition parties together to fight against the central government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). 

Sharing more information, he mentioned that Sharad Pawar had expressed this thought and is working towards making sure people's agitation towards the policies drawn by the government are highlighted. Decisions regarding the leading party can be taken later after the primary concerns are addressed with the right motive. 

Pawar recently celebrated his 80th birthday and several leaders including PM Narendra Modi wished him on the day. Reports state that over 60 years of his tenure in politics, he has maintained a cordial relationship with several leaders in the country, and has been wished well on several occasions. 

While talking about this, Malik called him 'jack of all trades' who cannot be questioned for his merits. 

Pawar started his political career in the 60s and has been serving the public since then. He was elected as an MLA from Baramati, and in the past has served as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra too. Under his leadership, NCP has changed the agenda and presented its leaders who express views with people across the country.
