No political salve for wounds

Govandi - A major fire broke out in a slum in Rafiq Nagar, Govandi a few days ago.
The fire broke out in a scrap shop and soon spread to adjoining huts. The Jamat Islami Hind helped the slum dwellers who have suffered losses in the fire. Residents have been offered Rs 5,000 by the organisation. Local MLA Abu Azmi however has not visited the constituency even once after the incident, residents complain.
