Dadar – The permissions accorded to the Shiv Sena, the BJP and the MNS for creating their selfie points at Shivaji Park are being cancelled by the BMC after local residents protested against these selfie points.

Selfie point created at Shivaji Park had attracted one and all. After MNS backed out from maintaining this point, the politics over this had gained momentum as city BJP chief Ashish Shelar had come forward to create the selfie point and he had even sought permission from the concerned authorities. The Shiv Sena had also jumped into the race for creating the selfie point. The banners in this regard were put up in Dadar by the concerned parties. MNS leader Sandip Deshpande who had created this selfie point for the first time had taken the ward officer to task for giving permission to the BJP and the Sena on the same day.

But the local residents protested the creation of selfie point at Shivaji Park and they had submitted a memorandum to the ward officer. This has forced the BMC to cancel permissions given to the political parties.
