Not one, but three selfie points at Shivaji Park now

Dadar - The iconic location of Shivaji Park, 'Selfie Point' where discussions on different topics usually take place, has turned into a political battleground. The brainchild of Sandeep Deshpande, former Maharashtra Navnirman Sena group leader in the BMC. It was a big hit with the younger crowd and attracted several youngsters every day. As the BJP was trying to gain points on this issue, Shiv Sena also jumped into the ‘selfie-point’ battleground. Now G/North ward officer has granted permission to all the parties including Shiv Sena, MNS, Bharatiya Janta Party.

This is indeed a jubilant news for all those youngsters whose faces went sadly after Sandeep Deshpande took the decision of discontinuing the 'selfie point'.

Unauthorised Selfie Point 

BMC granted permission to BJP to set up a selfie point in Shivaji Park, Dadar. This didn't go well with MNS leader Sandip Deshpande. Deshpande visited civic ward office and met Ward officer, Ramakant Biradar. Sandip embroiled in the dispute with ward officer and in conversation uttered that Selfie point set up by MNS was unauthorised.
