‘Nothing there for OBCs in Budget’
Matunga – Noted economists Prof Hari Narke has alleged that Central government has made fun of the OBC in the Union Budget. He was addressing the Mahaparishad (convention) of the OBC community held at Kala Kendra in Matunga on Saturday. Addressing further, Narke said that prime minister Narendra Modi who identifies himself as a member of OBC should have given something for this backward category. He tried out to point out what the OBCs in the country got from the Union Budget of 2017-18. Many demands of OBCs such as promotion scheme for them, cancellation of creamy layer condition, 27 per cent reservation in government jobs, etc. were put forth in this meet. Ashok Gite and many others attended this convention.
