On our own for BMC : Nirupam

Mumbai - For the upcoming BMC elections congress will be in the fray on their own. This was announced by Mumbai Congress President Sanjay Nirupam at Mumbai Congress office.
He also lamented BJP saying, “For last 18 years, I have been organising Chhatpooja, but BJP celebrates it only when elections are around the corner. Large number of devotees thronged Juhu beach for Chhatpooja celebration but BJP plays politics over it.
While speaking about the election he said, "Meetings and discussion was held from local corporators to senior leaders. The outcome of the meetings was conveyed to high command. We were given a go ahead by our senior leadership and so we have decided to contest BMC election without forming an alliance with the NCP.”
