Ward 132 has just one poll candidate so far!

Ghatkopar- With the date for submission of candidates' nominations just a day away, an interesting situation has emerged in ward 132. Only one candidate, and an independent one at that, has filed his candidature. Are the major political parties still confused about the candidates they want to field from Ghatkopar?
The only form submitted is that of Raju Srinivasan Nair, an independent candidate from ward 132. Bigger parties like the BJP and Congress have said that they will submit their forms on Thursday 2 February, the penultimate day of nominations.
For submission of nomination forms of candidates in N ward, the Election Commission has made arrangements have been done at the Marathi school 2 at Pant Nagar in Ghatkopar. According to the Returning Officer Sanjay Kirve, the timeframe given by the Election Commission for submission of the aspiring candidates for the upcoming BMC elections are 27 January to 3 February.
