Andheri- Former Finance Minister P Chidambaram had targeted Shiv Sena and BJP saying that from last 20 years BMC is ruled jointly by Shiv Sena, BJP but Mumbaikars are still striving for the basic amenities.
In a program arranged by the Congress party in Raheja Club in Andheri. Chidambaram said that Mumbai is economic capital of the country and a major part of the country’s revenue is generated from Mumbai. But still, Mumbai lacks behind as a developed city, proper railway, proper infrastucture and other basic things.
According to Chidambaram during the Congress rule, Mumbai got the World class airport, Metro, Monorail, Bandra-Worli sea link, Eastern freeway.
In this program along with P Chidambaram, Mumbai Congress president Sanjay Nirupam, former minister Suresh Shetty, former MLA Baldev Khosa were also present at the program.
