Mumbai - PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for the much awaited memorial of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Mumbai. This has been an emotional issue in Maharashtra politics for a long time. After obtaining all the necessary permissions, this memorial is expected to be erected in the arabian sea close to the shores.
This memorial will be built at an estimated cost of Rs 3600 crores. This memorial was proposed by the then congress government in the state and this issue has been kept alive in the political circles.
It may not matter who will score brownie points but for the ardent followers of Chatrpati, this memorial will soon be a reality.
