Dahisar - Sandip Uttekar, Ganesh devotee who was injured during Ganpati visarjan on 15th September was provided financial assistance by MLA Prakash Surve. Trucks carrying Ganesha idols left from kanade Maidan, Ketakipada, one of the truck’s brake failed and hit Sandip. He was badly injured and rushed to Orbit Hospital, Mira Road. MLA prakash Surve, Prabhu Singh Dasana, Vikram Choudhary were present to provide the compensation to Sandip’s wife. Siddhivinayak Charitable trust is also roped in to support Sandip financially.
