Nariman Point - Blind people protested against the State Government. Candidates of the National Federation of the Blind wanted a hike in the Sanjay Gandhi Pension Scheme based on biometric methods. They stood in front of Mantralaya rallying against the Maharashtra Government. The protest indeed had an impact as the traffic on one side of the road was stalled for more than 20 minutes.
