Wadala - 500 NSS students joined the BMC in a rally to create ballot awareness. Students from 23 colleges participated in the rally, among them - Lala Lajpat Rai College, Sydenham College, KC College and Ruparel College. The rally started from Vidyalankar College, Wadala and moved towards Guru Nanak College, GTB. Present at the rally were Marathi actor Arun Kadam, Suresh Shewale, NSS Co-ordinator Babasaheb Bidwe, Vijay Gawde, Dr Satish Kolte, Principal Vidyalankar College Dr Rohini Kelkar and other dignitaries.
