No challenge from existing corporators, say new faces

Ghatkopar - Political parties have exerted confidence in their former corporators by giving them tickets for the BMC elections. Shiv Sena has given a ticket to existing corporator Dr Bharati Bawdane from ward no. 123. Bawdane’s rival from the BJP, Sangita Padwal, is contesting the election for the firm time. Padwal said that Bawdane has not done any work and hence she is not a challenge in her victory from this ward. In ward no. 132, the MNS has given a ticket to Bobby Chandelia while his opponent is the existing leader of opposition in the BMC, Pravin Chheda. Chandelia has claimed that he would give a tough fight to Chheda in this election.
