CST – Tribal welfare minister Vishnu Savra is involved in sweater scam worth Rs 16 crore, alleged Congress spokesperson Dr Raju Waghmare. Savra had assured the Legislative Assembly to distribute sweaters to the tribal students. Tenders for this were issued four times as he did not get the favourable contractor. Why he took the decision to deposit money for sweater in parents’ accounts, asked Waghmare. Even after the beginning of the winter, sweaters are not being distributed to tribal students. The raincoats were tested in a pharmaceutical lab and scam of Rs 12 crore took place in this connection. All these scams should be investigated, demanded the Congress spokesperson.
