Sharad Pawar was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital after experiencing health discomfort, sources said on Tuesday.
Doctors stated that the veteran leader’s condition is stable, and he is undergoing medical evaluation and routine tests as a precaution.
His daughter, Supriya Sule, said the hospitalisation was for a check-up and that further treatment decisions would be taken after reviewing the test results.
Officials indicated that there is no immediate cause for concern, but given his age, doctors have advised observation. Pawar’s scheduled engagements have been cancelled until further notice.
