After a lot of ups and down, finally Shiv Sena again rules BMC. The new Mayor Vishwasnath Mahadeshwar from Shiv Sena was elected unanimously, so the BMC building is decorated with saffron colours.
During the BMC election, BJP made an emotional call to the voters talking about change and transparency . Shiv Sena said that it had built a statue of Shivaji Maharaj outside the BMC headquarters stating that his blessing shall always remain with the Sena.
