Mumbai – Maha government’s ambitious project Shivaji Memorial is once again in news. State government is on radar for not taking permission of central environment and forest department to erect the Shivaji Memorial. They have also not made the feasibility report which was must. This information was revealed by RTI activist Sanjay Shirodkar. He added that PWD officials had sent the proposal to the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority but the latter denied permission for not answering their questions. They asked questions such are birds and marine life safe? Is project harmless? It seems, MCZMA is in no mood to entertain.
