Candidates joined Shiv Sena in North Central Mumbai just prior to the BMC elections proved fruitful for Shiv Sena as out of the 4 new candidates 3 won in their wards in the BMC election.
From ward 11, Riddhi Bhaskar Khursange, from ward 18 Shiv Sena’s Sandhya Vipul Doshi, from ward 25 Madhuri Yogesh Bhoir added seats for the Shiv Sena party by winning in their wards.
These three women candidates joined Shiv Sena party after the announcement of the BMC election date.
Riddhi Bhaskar Khursange and Sandhya Vipul Doshi joined Sena, quitting Nationalist Congress Party and Madhuri Yogesh Bhoir entered the Sena from Congress. These three women candidates who came in Sena won, whereas Bharti Chetna Kadam who joined Sena from Maharashtra Navnirman Sena.
