CST - City Congress party members staged agitation against the demonization at different railway stations in the city on Thursday. Alleging that there is no improvement in the condition prevailing after the banning of high-value currency notes and inconvenience caused to common people, Congress workers initiated a signature campaign.
City Congress president Sanjay Nirupam also participated in the agitation held at Churchgate and CST railway stations. Nirupam appealed the citizens to participate in this campaign to reach their voice to the Central government.
Former MLA Charan Singh Sapra, MPCC spokesperson Sachin Sawant, district president Sunil Narsale, general secretary Vinod Shekhar, corporator Sushma Salunkhe, Puran Doshi and a large number of Congress workers participated in the agitation.
