BJP had made an attempt to attract women voters for the upcoming BMC elections. BJP announced its special election manifesto for women on Tuesday Vasant Smriti hall in Dadar. In order to strengthen women and to make them capable BJP has made many more promises like employment, business in its manifesto.
Declarations made in the manifesto.
- Health- To make Maharashtra Cancer free, different Que and counters for women at hospitals.
- Toilets for women- To construct clean and safe public toilets after every 2 km's in the city, construct vegetable markets, mobile toilets for working women.
- Provision for ownership of women in SRA scheme, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY)
- Day care center and free transport service to senior women citizen
- Implementation of Vishakha Guidelines at government and private offices.
- Bachat Ghat- Market will be constructed for the women to sell their home made products.
