Mumbai- Mumbai’s collector Ashwini Joshi is in news but for wrong reasons. According to the RTI activist Anil Galgali, Ashwini Joshi owes Rs. 2.85 fine to state government but the latter waived off the fine. Before she was transferred to Thane in 2014, she was residing in Mumbai’s Kedar-2 building. However when she was transferred she was asked to vacate the flat but she did not do so. And so she was levied the fine and by 13th October 2015 she had to pay total Rs. 2, 99, 838 but somehow her fine was waived off. Anil Galgali has requested the CM to levy the tax and to take action against Mumbai’s collector Ashwini Joshi.
