It is unclear whether there will be a film city in Uttar Pradesh or not, but the world's best and latest technology film city will be built on 521 acres of land in Mumbai, said Culture Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar while interacting with the media in Nagpur.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met and interacted with dignitaries from the film industry during his 2-day visit to Mumbai. Dismissing claims of the film industry in Mumbai shifting to Uttar Pradesh, he added that a film city with state-of-the-art technology will be created in Mumbai instead.

To ensure that film city stays here and filmmakers do not go to other places, a window scheme has been introduced for this. Now all no objection certificates will be available on one click for filming permission. Now, filmmakers in order to film a movie at various locations, will get a no objection certificate (NOC) in just one click. 65 tourist spots will be developed in the state for the filmmakers where they will be able to shoot their movie along with best suited facilities. Mungantiwar also said that with this move, there will be no need left for directors to go to Kashmir for exotic locations.

Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath  arrived in Mumbai on Wednesday, 4 January. During his visit, he interacted with various businessmen and bollywood veterans. The Chief Minister interacted with key investors to promote economic growth and development in Uttar Pradesh during his two-day visit.
