Mumbai- Former Maharashtra chief minister Prithviraj Chavan has filed an RTI application, regarding the Foxcon Company which was supposed to generate 50,000 employment opportunities in Maharashtra. But when he filed an RTI, Chavan says he got a reply saying that the information could not be revealed under sections 8(1) (a) and section 11 of the RTI Act 2005. The applicants were also asked to approach the appellate authority first. Chavan has claimed that while the company is not making any investments, the state government is busy putting out fake brochures and fake employment opportunities.
