Mumbai- Amazon, that's currently under fire from external affairs Sushma Swaraj for allowing the sale of doormats with the Indian tri-colour flag (Tiranga) on them, appears to be in a bit of a soup.
Swaraj took to twitter on Wednesday to register her protest. She took a screenshot and made it loud and clear that, if the doormat is not removed from the list of online goods offered by Amazon, none of the Amazon officials would be granted visas to visit India and their visas would be rescinded. Indians wear patriotism on their sleeve, but definitely not on the doormat is the message Swaraj is apparently sending out. The online giant tried selling doormats, but we are showing them the door, is the clear message the minister has sent out.
