The voting process for the assembly elections in Maharashtra concluded on October 21 evening. However, on the polling day, several media report stated glitches in the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). 

In Maharashtra, Congress wrote to the concerned election officials informing them about 321 EVM glitches across the state while in Mumbai a technical glitch was reported at a polling station (no. 62) in Worli.

However, the EVM the issue was resolved shortly. Yuva Sena chief Aditya Thackeray contested the assembly elections from Worli constituency. 

Due to the technical glitches in the EVM at a polling booth in Worli, the voting was interrupted for about half an hour. Similar incidents of EVM malfunctions were reported in other parts of the state.

Voting was stalled for over an hour at a polling station in Dhamangaon village in Ratnagiri and in Kalamban Gavanwadi village, the polling was stopped for three hours.
