Kandivali – The festival of Makar Sankranti was celebrated with zeal and excitement at Ramesh Jha compound in Bihari Tekdi area under ward no. 22 on Saturday. President of City Congress Committee Sanjay Nirupam also attended the programme. He said that he is trying to bring the people closer to the party who are drifting away from it. On this occasion, around 7,000 people took benefit of the Prasad.
