On May 27, the by-elections for two Lok Sabha seats is going to be held in Maharashtra. The two seats consist of Palghar and Beed district seats. BJP's record of the by-election has not been positive, due to which the party does not want to leave any stone unturned. The Chief Minister, himself has engaged in raising the support for BJP by rallying and conducting roadshow.

Along with Fadnavis, UP Yogi Adityanath has also joined the rally to garner the votes of Hindus and North Indian voters in their respective constituencies.

His rally is held in Manvelpada (Virar), Nalasopara, and other areas of Palghar district where a lot of population is North Indian. It is believed, that these minds can change the fate for BJP.

The seat in Palghar is vacant due to the demise of BJP leader Chintaman Vanga.

Yogi Adityanath in his speech said, "Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is a national hero. He is an inspiration to the whole nation and does not belong to one party." While speaking about BJP's ally in Maharashtra, Yogi pointed out that Shiv Sena's current situation would have distressed Balasaheb Thackeray's spirit and would have never approved of backstabbing. Meanwhile, he was all praises for Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and described his contribution to the nation in the speech where he said, “Many parties got the opportunity to serve India, many earned the opportunity to serve Maharashtra but only Modi government introduced the economically backward people to bank accounts through “Pradhanmantri Jan Dhan Yojna.”

He also slammed Congress and said the party has ended and other parties will meet the same fate, further adding that there is no reason for the civilians to be scared of the goons and the criminals in Palghar and to be rest assured that BJP can end the misdeeds of the goons in Palghar.

Yogi had successfully established the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh by 2017. His success can be credited to his way of appeal and unabashed vision of a "Hindu Rashtra". So can Yogi repeat the same sequence again and win BJP the seat of Palghar?
