After the Lok Sabha elections concluded, the monsoon session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly will commence from June 17. The session will go on for the duration of three weeks which will have only 12 working days. 

The agenda for the monsoon session was decided in the meeting conducted by the Working Advisory Committee. With the Maharashtra Assembly elections scheduled this year, this will be the last legislative assembly session before the current Maharashtra government’s tenure ends. 

In the monsoon session, the state budget will be presented on June 18 and the discussion on the same will be held on June 21 and 24. while the Governor’s address is scheduled on June 19 and 20.

Maharashtra Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar informed that before the commencement of state assembly monsoon session, from June 5 to 10, the cabinet expansion will be carried out.
