Madh - Tension is pacing up in ward number - 29 which during ward restructuration process has been changed to ward number - 49. This ward is now reserved for women candidate. Fight is between the heavyweight women candidates of the congress to outdo the Shiv Sena candidate in upcoming BMC elections. Those in the contention are- Sangeeta Koli, Samida Sheikh on recommendation of senior leader and ward's Talkua President Vishakha Pathak. Currently Shiv Sena's Ajit Bhandari is the corporator from Madh. The party workers feel a local should contest the BMC election and not any outsider should be imposed as a candidate. However, the leaders are not ready to talk on this and made it clear that, even the candidate interview have not taken place and party high command will take final decision.
