Virat Kohli, the Indian cricket team captain has cancelled buying a luxury apartment in the Omkar 1973 project located in Worli, Mumbai which is being constructed by Omkar Realtors & Developers.
The deed of cancellation was made on March 20 and the registration of the cancellation was done the next day. According to reports, Kohli had purchased the 7,000 square feet apartment on the 35th floor of Tower C of the project by Omkar Realtors & Developers for around ₹34 crores.
The Indian skipper married Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma in the month of December and has currently leased a sea-view apartment in a skyscraper, Raheja Legend at Worli’s Dr. Annie Besant Road paying a monthly rent of ₹15 lakh.
The apartment is on the 40th floor of the building and has an area of 2,700 square feet. The contract for the apartment is for two years.
