Mumbaikars can now book their dream house as The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has scheduled a lottery on November 10. They will be selling 891 house in Mumbai through a lottery system which will take place at Bandra’s Rangsharda auditorium.
Follow this procedure to book a house
- Advertisement will be published on September 15
- Registrations will start at 2:00 pm on September 16 and will run until October 31
- Form filling will begin from September 17, 2:00 pm onwards
- Last day of form filling will be on September 22 until 12:00 noon
- One will be able to pay the deposit through a DD from September 17 to September 25
- Last date of paying deposit through a DD on October 25
- One will be able to pay deposit through NEFT-RTGS from October 17 to October 24
The lottery will be announced on November 10 at Bandra's Rang Sharda Auditorium

- Total 819 affordable houses will be available for Mumbaikars
- Eight houses (EWS)-Pratiksha Nagar, Sion, Mankhurd, Chandivali, Magathane- Borivali
- 192 houses (LIG) - Kannamwar Nagar, Charkop, Kandivali, Siddarthanagar Chandivali, Mankhurd, Malwani, Malad
- 281 houses (MIG) – Pratiksha Nagar, Siddartha Nagar, Unnat Nagar, Gaikwad Nagar- Malwani
- 338 houses (HIG) – Tunga Powai, Charkop, Shimpoli
